Air Soil Water was born of the positive energy that came from our grassroots effort (Save Cummins Hill) to fight the Tennessee Gas Northeast Upgrade Project. The “upgrade” as they call it is to increase the capacity and size of the pipeline that is transporting fracked gas from Western Pennsylvania across the Delaware River to New Jersey. While none of us were activists when we started the fight To Stop The Fracking Pipeline, we quickly learned to become advocates for ourselves and worked together with Delaware Riverkeeper Network and other grassroots groups to stave off abuse of our land and our natural right to clean AIR, SOIL and WATER.
The focus now is on reframing the conversation and fighting FOR renewable energy and other forms of sustainability. Air Soil Water has a strong board of directors and advisory board and a great group of talented, passionate people involved in our mission including teachers, engineers, energy experts, community and business leaders, school board, sustainable gardeners and others.
Each one of us can make a difference in our community.
Let’s all Achieve Sustainability.
